Linda Boyd-Jones leads the firm’s M&A and Corporate Valuation Advisory Practice. Bringing far-reaching experience in the financial services industry, Linda provides private equity, strategy development, business valuation, and banking services to companies small and large.
Prior to joining Tellson Securities, Linda ran her own management consulting company, LB-J Associates, launched in 2002. Over this time LB-J concluded several major engagements with Fortune 500 companies including Parsons Brinckerhoff and AECOM to provide strategy, valuation, and capital raising services for the launch of new, diversification-driven, businesses. Linda began her career in corporate finance at Citibank where she spent 10 years in large corporate and real estate lending. Subsequently, she spent 6 years at Fluor Corporation as Executive Director of Strategy Development for Fluor Global Services and earlier as lead Latin America Director of Project Finance.
Linda is also experienced in developing capitalization strategies for large, international mega-projects. While at Fluor Corporation, Linda was responsible for developing the winning capital structure for a $1.2 billion Build-Own-Operate project, the first privatization of Pemex.
Linda is Panamanian-American and grew up in the former Panama Canal Zone. Linda holds three degrees: an AA in Liberal Arts from the Canal Zone College, a BA in International Economics from LSU, and an MBA from LSU. She also holds three executive education certifications in Corporate Finance from Harvard, in Implementing Strategy from Wharton, and in Mergers & Acquisitions from UCLA.
